Click on a playername anywhere in the Galaxytool to see this page. You will get seven tabs which contain information about the currently selected player.

The information here depend heavily on the uploaded espionage reports of that player! If you have no espionage reports available you will get only limited information.

=== Details tab ===
Here you will get a short overview about the player, his / her alliance and the players rank. Also all known planets and notices. Furthermore you will see to which alliances that player belonged in the past. On top of that, you'll see if you have received [[Ingame messages]] of that player.

=== Resources ===
Here you can see how many resources the player produces per hours / day / week / 30 days. You need reports of that player to see information at that tab.

=== Fleet ===
Here you will see a fleet overview which is the sum of all available reports for this player. If you have no reports, no useful data will be displayed.

=== Research ===
View the player techs at this tab.

=== Planets and Moon Tab ===
This view is similar to the "empire" view of the ogame commander feature. You will see all planets together with the resources, buildings and defence.

=== Activities ===
This shows the online times of the player - these times are collected from various sources of the game (galaxy view, espionage actions, combat report, player messages, alliance page, manual insertions). Besides, you can choose between week view and 24 hours view, restrict it to a timeframe, and choose the week days, from which you want to see the activity times.
On top of that, you can report the activity times from that player on this page, for example for non-universe activities, like IRC or the OGame board.

== GTP Settings ==

There is room for up to 5 universes through the plugin.

You have to fill in the server of your universe in the "Ogame Servername" field. You can get the server address by right-clicking on the "overview" link at OGame and choose "copy link location". You will get an address like this:

http://uni15.ogame.de/game/overview.php?session=yoursession (german Uni 15).

Now you remove the "http://" and everything from "/game" to the end. That's your server address:

In the "Galaxytool URL" field you need to fill in the path to the galaxyplugin.php of the corresponding galaxytool. Normally the file galaxyplugin.php is stored at the secret folder of your galaxytool. That file receives the information from the toolbar and its URL must be inserted at the URL textfield. You need to fill in the complete path, e.g. http://www.yourdomain.com/pathtogalaxytool/secret/galaxyplugin.php
The admin can delete the file if he does not want the usage of the toolbar. He can also rename the file, so nobody knows the URL except authorized users. So if you are not sure ask your admin what the URL is to the required file.

The status information and all texts of the toolbar are only available in english but you can use them with every OGame language! It works with english as well as with french, spanish...

== Updating Galaxies ==

To upload galaxy data to your Galaxy, just view the Galaxy. Pay special attention to your status window within ogame.

Upon viewing the galaxyview has finished loading completely you should see:

Updating statistics is done much like updating galaxies, upon viewing the statistics, you will see they're found, and that they've finished updating.

== Uploading Espionage Reports ==

One of the new features of the plugin is the ability to automatically upload your espionage reports.

Please make sure you don't have the truncated view option selected in your ogame options for this to work.

Upon clicking on "Messages" in your ogame menu, the reports should be uploaded automatically, and you should receive a status update.

In the current version for redesign universes this is the only possibility to upload espionage reports via Firefox Extension. Automatic Transmission has been disabled for performance reasons.
Make sure, that you enabled in your ogame account the option to show full espionage reports.

Sometimes it is helpful to activate the debug printout to allow developer or supporter to analyze the problem.
In this case you need to activate the debugging at your toolbar options.

Toolbar Installation (Firefox)

To use the plugin, it must be installed as a Firefox Add-on.

Click on the download link via the [[download]] page and install the addon.
(You may be directed to save the plugin, if so save to your desktop and then click/drag the plugin .xpi to an open firefox window to install).
or go to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/8588 and install it there (only for ogame redesign).

You will have to restart firefox to activate the plugin.

To define your options:

To do this, on the firefox menubar click on "Tools"

Then "Add-ons"

=== FoxGame ===
If you enable several buttons at the [[FoxGame]] extension you may experience problems during upload of data.
( like for example the extra buttons for the [[FoxGame]] database features )

Disable any buttons at the galaxyview, statistics, alliance overview and reports at your foxgame settings. To do this, go to foxgame settings and disable all radiobuttons at the "Databases" tab.

There is NO problem with the reduced galaxyview if you update the galaxytool only with the toolbar and not manually at the textarea of the galaxytool.

=== Ogame Commander ===
You must not disable the message button at the galaxyview. Otherwise you won't be able to update them using the toolbar.
Currently you also have to disable the "view report" button.

=== Neogame ===
We recommend disabeling Neogame all together. In some configuarations it may help to enable reduced galaxyview. Since the new design of Ogame will most likely result in Neogame being redesigned or abandoned, there is no need for us to write a workaround for this old tool.

Toolbar Frequently Asked Questions

=Toolbar Remains in "Status: Galaxy x:xxx:x Found"=
When showing a galaxy, the toolbar shows "Status: Galaxy x:xxx:x Found" and does not progress to "Status: Galaxview x:xxx:x Updated". The galaxyview is not updated into the galaxy database.

==Possible Cause==
The Foxgame plugin in Firefox is also installed and its settings disables the Galaxytoolbar updates.

==Possible Solution (Example Foxgame 1.4.8)==
* Go to Firefox 2 menu [Tools].[Add-ons]
* In the section "Extensions", select Foxgame plugin.
* Press the button [Options]
* In tab "General I", un-tick box "Reduced Galaxy view"
* In tab "Databases", un-tick all boxes (starting with "Add buttons..")
* Press button [Ok]

Browser Extension

The Toolbar works only with Mozilla Firefox. The installation script for Mozilla did not work yet.
There are no toolbars for Opera and IE at the moment!

You can activate and deactivate the toolbar to avoid mistakes if you are playing in more tha 1 universe. At startup the toolbar is always deactivated and must be activated before it's first usage. If the toolbar is activated it works for all instances or tabs of the browser!
